Malik Nabers injury update: Giants WR taken to locker room in fourth quarter vs. Cowboys

Unfortunately for |G| New York, he went |H| to the locker room |J| late in the fourth |K| quarter on Thursday Night |L| Football, after he crashed |M| down out of bounds |O| landing on his helmet |P| face first.

Nabers was slow |Q| to get up after |R| the play. Spent some |S| time in the medical |U| tent being evaluated by |V| trainers and medical staff, |Y| before eventually heading to |Z| the locker room. Shortly |A| after, the Amazon Prime |B| broadcast updated his status, |C| with Al Michaels saying |D| Nabers had a concussion.

The |E| Cowboys won the Thursday |F| Night Football game, 20-15, |G| over the Giants. Dallas |H| sealed the win after |J| Amani Oruwariye had an |K| interception in the closing |L| seconds.

That wasn’t without an |M| excellent performance by Nabers. |O| He hauled in 12 |P| catches for 115 yards |Q| before leaving the game |R| with a concussion.

Through the |S| first four games of |U| his NFL career, Nabers |V| has 35 catches for |Y| 386 receiving yards and |Z| three touchdowns. He drew |A| praise on Thursday night |B| from former LSU star, |C| Odell Beckham Jr.

Nabers played |D| a critical role in |E| guiding the Giants to |F| a 21-15 win over |G| the Cleveland Browns on |H| Sept. 22. He hauled |J| in eight catches for |K| 78 yards and two |L| touchdowns, on 12 targets. |M| The former LSU star |O| also shined against the |P| Washington Commanders on Sept. |Q| 15th. Even though the |R| Giants lost 21-18, Nabers |S| hauled in 10 catches |U| for 127 yards and |V| a touchdown on 18 |Y| total targets.

He was expected |Z| to get force fed |A| targets this season by |B| head coach Brian Daboll, |C| and the Giants head |D| coach has not disappointed. |E| Nabers has tallied double |F| digit targets in three |G| of his four games |H| so far in his |J| rookie campaign. He’ll likely |K| have to sit out |L| a week due to |M| his concussion but look |O| for him to get |P| back on track and |Q| in a hurry. Because |R| he is a ridiculously |S| massive piece of the |U| New York offensive attack. |V| And it makes perfect |Y| sense when you look |Z| at his freakish testing |A| numbers and his college |B| production coming into the |C| league.
